I first met Brett a couple of years ago when looking into the student market. I didn't do anything at that time. It was a pleasure to meet Brett again in July 2021 when viewing another property, and subsequently other properties.
Brett is generous with his time, doesn't rush you, and tells you the facts as he sees them. I feel he gives his views and advice in a very straightforward manner which is what you want as a buyer or a seller.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Brett for his professionalism, friendliness and someone to go to for advice. I have now met the Lettings side of Star and found them extremely helpful as well.
I find some estate agents to be quite irksome. Brett, on the other hand, came across as easy to get on with and was able to offer a personalised service: pandering to the fact that I was on the opposite side of the planet at the time of the sale and that I was keen to ensure good liaison with the student tenants, including keeping any disruption, occasioned by viewings, to a minimum.
This latter objective was achieved by arranging a series of viewings, on the same day, by parties with the means to proceed. A satisfactory sale subsequently ensued at a figure in excess of the initial asking price and I'd be happy to ask Star Investments to act for me again were I to consider selling another student let house in Exeter.
They know the student let market, they have the contacts and they are small enough to be able to offer a personalised service and keep on top of the process.
